Please browse through the beautiful assortment of handcrafted bowls, urns, furniture and art offered for sale. I carefully select native northern California wood and then hand-turn on the lathe and finish each bowl or urn individually. The furniture and other pieces are created the same way, one piece at a time and unique. All my pieces are original works. Some of them are intended to be "utilitarian art", while others are intended as art for art’s sake alone. It is my hope that they will make a beautiful as well as useful addition to your home.
I feature locally grown woods that are native to the heart of the Redwood region - Del Norte County, California. I use high quality food safe finishes for salad and food service dishes. Multiple coats of clear finishes bring out the glory of the figure on decorative pieces. The urns are designed to be suitable as crematoria ash containers. They are sized to California standards for such vessels. Some urns are sized smaller to be appropriate for use as pet urns.
